Text Box: Children's Prevention Services
 
Children's Prevention Services provides a variety of free prevention services for children and families in Elk and Cameron County, from birth, until a child graduates from high school. These services are available to the general public.
 
What are prevention services? When we say prevention, we mean that a child or family have the opportunity to engage in a service that has scientific evidence proven to decrease the chance that a child or parent engage in risky behavior.
 
Among the programs offered are; 
Parents As Teachers, The Life Program, 
The Incredible Years, Suicide Prevention Program, Student Assistance Program and Staying Connected With 
Your Teens.
