Text Box: PERFORMING FOR FUND RAISING EVENT   Above, members of the band "Six Pak", on a recent visit to the River 98.9. Six Pak will perform at a benefit dance on Saturday night at the Elk Casino. Proceeds from the dance will benefit the Elkland Search and Rescue organization. Elkland is presently constructing a new building, located near it's original building, on Brussells Street in St. Marys. The public is welcome to attend the dance, Saturday night, starting at 9 p.m. at the Elk Casino.

 Text Box: MEET THE CANDIDATES FORUM A meet the candidates forum will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, at the South St. Marys Street Elementary School, featuring Republican Matt Gabler and Democrat Dan Surra. The forum will be moderated by Robert Schreiber Jr., and will begin at 7 p.m.   ATV STOLEN City police report someone stole a Honda 4 wheeler from a residence on Poplar Road.   STREET CLOSING MONDAY The City of St. Marys announces that the entrance to West Mill Street from South St. Marys Street will be closed to through traffic on Monday, October 13th to accommodate a construction Project.   ANIMAL FRIENDS YARD SALE THIS WEEKEND A yard sale will be held at Animal Friends on Route 255, today, Saturday and Sunday.
