Bavarian Fall Fest

 

The Annual Bavarian Fall Fest will be held September 19th through the 21st in St. Marys. This years entertainment line up includes "Two Guys Drinking Beer", "The Chain", a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, along with Venus Freak and Rainwood Blue.

Project Gifts For Elk County Toy Run

 

The Project Gifts For Elk County Toy Run will be held on September 20th in conjunction with the Bavarian Fall Fest. Registration begins at 11 a.m. , the ride begins at 2 p.m. The event will begin at Wal-Mart Parking log, and end at the Bavarian Fall Fest. To participate, you must donate a toy for Project Gifts For Elk County. Food and refreshments will be available prior to the ride.

 

 

 

 

 

ECCSS "Back To School" Information Day August 19th

 

Want to be a Crusader? It's not too late! Join us for a "Back to School" Information Day at Elk County Catholic School System on Tuesday, August 19th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event will be held at both ECCSS school buildings for potential students and families. School personnel will be available to give tours, answer questions, and help in registering and scheduling students for classes. Cameron County Historical Society Offering Walking Tour

 

 

Emporium Borough celebrates its 150th birthday this fall.  To kick off the celebration The Cameron County Historical Society will offer a stroll down memory lane.  A walking tour ending with a celebration lunch at Charlie’s Friendly Tavern will be held Saturday August 30. 

  

Participants will have their choice of sandwich and drink following a Historical Walk of Emporium sponsored by the Emporium Borough and hosted by the Cameron county Historical Society.  The cost is $15.00 per person.  Reservations are accepted at the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce office, or by calling 814-486-4314.

Chamber Golf outing September 10th

 

St. Marys Area Chamber of commerce will sponsor their 14th annual Golf outing on Wednesday, September 10th at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course. Price is $55 for members, $70 for non-members. Deadline to register is August 27th. Contact the chamber office for registration

Firequacker 2015

The Firequacker 2015 duck derby moving to Sinnemahoning State Park this year.  Adopted ducks will race the First Fork during the First Fork Festival on Saturday October 11.  Rubber ducks can be adopted for $2.00 each or a six quack for $10.00.  Ducks can be adopted at the chamber office, and at various businesses displaying the duck derby sign.

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce planning for the 2nd annual Fall Flea Market.  It will be held on Saturday October 18. Reservations are being taken at the chamber office at 34 East Fourth Street or by calling 814-486-4314.

 

Relay For Life Fall Festival

The Elk County Relay For Life Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, September 14th at Fox Township Park. Registration is $25 per vendor. Registration and payment is due by September 5th. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

10th Annual Camp Cadet Golf Tournament

Moses "The Musical"

 

The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a bus trip on Saturday, September 27th to the performance of the musical "Moses" at the sigh and Sound Theatre near Lancaster. The 2nd annual 3 on 3 C.
