News Update From St. Marys Area School District

March 27, 2020

"We're stressed, we're anxious, we're tired, but we're moving forward". Dr. Brian Toth, Superintendent of St. Marys Area School District provides an update on what school officials and teachers are doing to address the needs of students during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Listen to update below

Dear Saint Marys Families, We hope that you and your family are doing well.

Information from Harrisburg has been very slow. We received our first guidance from the state on March 24th and further clarification on March 26th.

We have good news for you. Starting Monday, March 30, 2020, we enter into the world of virtual learning. This is not intended to mimic school and the first step is to reconnect, review and enrich. The focus is on learning. You have or will receive information from our teachers and principals. If our closure is extended, further we will implement virtual planned instruction.

Thank you for your patience.
