Recently, Doug Gaffey, President of Liberty Pressed Metals met with John Dippold, President of the St. Marys Area United Way, Joe Jacob, Boys & Girls Club Chief Executive Officer, and Tracy Snyder, Boys & Girls Club Program Director to present a generous donation to the St. Marys Area United Way. Liberty Pressed Metals is a local powder metal company located in Kersey, Pennsylvania. Mr. Gaffey picked the Boys and Girls Club for his check presentation to help remind the community that the Boys & Girls Club is one of the many United Way recipients. Mr. Gaffey presented this check during the St. Marys Area United Way’s Corporate Campaign appeal with the hope that his contribution will help encourage other companies to support the St. Marys Area United Way.
The St. Marys Area United Way relies on the contributions from companies and local individuals. Those donations support the financial needs of non-profit agencies that serve the health and human welfare needs of our community.
