A state lawmaker has proposed changes to the speed limits on dirt roads in Pennsylvania.
The bill, proposed by Rep. Christian Sappey (D-Chester), would lower the speed limits on dirt and gravel roads from the default 55 miles per hour to a maximum of 35 miles per hour. The bill would also allow municipalities to choose whether to lower their respective limits below 35 mph.
