The Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) is accepting applications for grants from the Borough of Ridgway Charitable Fund through September 15.

The fund supports organizations and programs that enhance the quality of life for residents of the Borough of Ridgway.

Grants are available to nonprofit organizations, municipalities, schools, and churches that serve the Ridgway area. Funding may be awarded for start-up initiatives, new projects, or improvements to established programs that benefit the community.

The Borough of Ridgway Charitable Fund was established in 2006 through a generous gift from the estate of Sara-Jane Stackpole. Since its inception, the fund has awarded more than $330,000 to organizations serving Ridgway residents.

"The Borough of Ridgway Charitable Fund continues to provide valuable resources for local organizations working to strengthen our community," said Tiffany Boschert, ECCF Executive Director. "We encourage eligible organizations to apply for projects and programs that will have a lasting impact on the residents of Ridgway."

The deadline to submit grant applications is September 15. Instructions and a link to our online grant portal are available on the Foundation's website at www.elkcountyfoundation.org. For additional information, contact the Elk County Community Foundation at 814-834-2125.

The Elk County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Northern Alleghenies, strengthens the region through development, stewardship, and grantmaking while partnering with donors to achieve their philanthropic goals.
