Emporium Teen Involved In Accident On Route 46

State police investigated an accident on Route 46 in Shippen Township. Police say the 18-year-old male was traveling north when his vehicle crossed the double yellow lane dividers and entered the south bound lane, then struck and embankment on the west side of the road. The vehicle then traveled down the side of the embankment approximately 150 feet, then struck a culver on the west side of the road. The driver was not injured.
