Our five-part Certificate series addresses the challenges of this position in a highly interactive, relaxed atmosphere.

Leadership Course I: May 13

Topics in Course I include: Motivate by knowing what people really want, planned spontaneous recognition and the four "must haves" of praise. Class runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Leadership Course II: June 17

Topics in Course II include: One-way vs. two-way communication, active listening skills and identifying different personalities. Class runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Leadership Course III: July 1

Topics in Course III include: How to solicit ideas from staff, avoiding Groupthink and Identifying/preventing sexual harassment. Class runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Leadership Course IV: July 22

Topics in Course IV include: Three-step method to problem solving, conflict resolution and managing problem personalities. Class runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Leadership Course V: August 5

Topics in Course V include: Appreciating differences in the workplace, identifying common stressors and their effects and presenting to groups with confidence. Class runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
