LIFT provides an array of services that are unique, and that are not available through other community agencies. They include: information and referral (I&R), independent living skills (ILS) instruction, peer counseling, individual, group, and systems advocacy, sensitivity and disability awareness training, assistive technology counseling and referral, technical assistance related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, transportation referral and recreational opportunities. Our agency allows persons with disabilities, their families, agencies, and the community at large who would like assistance or information, the freedom to inquire about the above stated services.
