Ever listened to the scanner and heard us or Ridgway Ambulance request, or say, we are "going halfway" - ever wondered what it meant or why we do it?

Sometimes our call volume is greater than our resources, meaning all of our crews are assisting other individuals. So whoever has available resources will move halfway between Ridgway and St. Marys in case another emergency call occurs.
