Two From Emporium Facing Firearms Charges After Police Execute Search Warrant

State Police in Emporium executed a Search Warrant on Route 120 in Shippen Township. As a result of the search, numerous articles relating to violations of Act 64 and the Firearms Act were found.

James Phillip Tressler was taken into custody ad charged with dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, Persons not to possess/use/manufacture, control, sell transfers Firearms and Act 64 offenses.

Kerianna Melissa Beck, 33, of Emporium was taken into custody and charged with Dealing in Proceeds of unlawful activities and Act 64 offenses.

Tressler anf Beck were taken in front of District Court and arraigned. Bail was set at $75,000 for Tressler and $50,000 for Beck. Both were remanded to Jail pending further court action.

State police were assisted by the Emporium Borough Police Department, Chief Merritt and Officer Kiefer and K9 Novak who positively identified the location of numerous Act 64 related articles.
