It’s becoming more common to change careers as we move from one stage of life to another. Women Empowering Women Speaker, Jeanne Miglicio, is no exception.
After spending many years owning and running Pizza Palace Plus in Emporium, Pa, an award winning successful full service licensed pizzeria and Italian restaurant, Jeanne was inspired to take her life in a new direction. When the younger of her daughters graduated high school, Jeanne made the decision to go back to school and earn her law degree. While she was working on her Master’s degree in Law from Georgetown University, Jeanne was chosen to serve as a legal fellow under Senator Chuck Grassley with the U.S. Senate Finance Committee.
While going back to school and accomplishing her Masters degree in Law was one dream, Jeanne wasn’t done. She had one more dream to fulfill, moving back to Emporium to build her own law practice and she did. Jeanne founded her law firm Jeanne Rees Miglicio Attorney at Law LLC, in Emporium, Pa. as a solo practice in February 2009. She practices business planning, contracts, estate planning, Orphans’ Court matters, federal and state taxation planning, representation with the IRS and before the US Tax Court, and all matters concerning real estate. Jeanne is often Court appointed to represent in matters involving child abuse and neglect.
“There are many of us out there, just like Jeanne, that want to change the vision of our future but we don’t know where to start. Jeanne can help us,” said Shanda Kelsch, President of Women Empowering Women. “Jeanne is a great example of someone whose vision for their life changed. Now she is leading and inspiring others that want to change their lives to make those changes so that they, too, can live their dream life.”
Jeanne Miglicio will be speaking at the WEW: Valuable Women Personal and Professional Development Conference on March, 8, 2024 at the Red Fern in Kersey, PA.
