Third Annual Glory Bound Christian Music Festival July 25th
Elk County Ecumenical is sponsoring the third annual Glory Bound Christian Music Festival. This year's event is to be held on the courthouse lawn in Ridgway on July 25. Besides three great local Christian bands, we are hosting Overcoming Obstacles ministry with Jared Greer, a participant on the American Ninja Warriors television show and former youth pastor. Jared will bring with him his own version of the obstacle course for local kids and adults to try out for themselves.


National EMS Week, May 17th-23rd

Individual Bird Dog Training Clinic to be Offered in NC PA on May 16th

Scheduled Events At Emporium Senior Center
Emporium Senior Center hosts a weekly Bingo for Fun every Wednesday from 1-3:30 pm. The games are intended to promote camaraderie as well as fun brain cognition. The public is invited to join. The folks at the center also invite the public to join a fun afternoon of various old time games every 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons. Bring along a favorite game for all to play. American Legion Riders Chapter 1-3 Benefit Ride June 20th
The American Legion Riders Chapter 103 will sponsor a benefit ride on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. Registration at 9:30 a.m., Safety at 10:40 a.m., Kick Stands Up at 11 a.m. The ride is $20.00, $10 per passenger. All motorized vehicles are welcome. A Meal will be served at 5 p.m. at the American Legion Post 103. A Chinese auction will follow. Proceeds benefit The Allegheny Veterans Center in Clarendon, Pa.


Ridgway Receives Grant For Boat Launch
State Rep. Mike Armanini partnered with Grow Rural PA to secure a $40,000 grant to support building a boat launch at the Ridgway Riverfront. Community leaders are seeking to break ground this summer to create a launch for fishing, canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts.
