PennDOT Driver’s License, Photo Centers Closed for Independence Day Holiday
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that all driver’s license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The full-service center in Harrisburg, including the driver’s license and photo center, and the Pittsburgh driver’s license center at 708 Smithfield Street, will also be closed Friday, July 3, 2026. JoAnn Grazioli, 71, Kersey
JoAnn Grazioli, 71, found eternal peace on Tuesday morning, June 30th, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home residence of 44 years in Kersey, PA. In her final days, she was lovingly cared for by family members and supported by close friends and neighbors. JoAnn was born September 11th, 1954 in Ridgway, PA. Daughter of the late Paul Washburn, and survived by her mother, Dora English Washburn, 92 of Ridgway. JoAnn was also survived by Charles Grazioli her husband of 45 years,


Social Security Cuts Could Hit Pennsylvania Retirees in 2032
A new trustees report says Social Security’s trust funds are projected to run short by the end of 2032, which could lead to benefit cuts unless Congress acts. No Injuries In Vehicle Fire On Wykoff Run Road
State police investigated a vehicle fire on Wykoff Run Road in Gibson Township. According to police, Quinton McConnell, 27, of Coudersport was traveling south on Wykoff Run Road when he began to experience a mechanical problem with his vehicle. Police report that after coming to a stop, the vehicle burst into flames. McConnell was not injured.

State Lawmakers Want To Lower Electric Bills. The Budget Impact Might Be Too Big To Swallow.
