Pennsylvania House Approves Alicia’s Law to Protect Kids from Online Predators
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives today passed Alicia’s Law, sponsored by Reps. Jason Ortitay (R-Washington/Allegheny) and Jessica Benham (D-Allegheny), that would create a dedicated state grant program to help law enforcement find, investigate and prosecute internet predators who target children. Bradford Hospital Emergency Department To Close This Weekend
One of the two hospitals in McKean County will close its emergency department on Sunday, as the Bradford Regional Medical Center downgrades from a hospital to an outpatient center, worrying local residents. Police Investigate Death Of Kersey Man
State police answered a call for a welfare check at 107 Sheeley Road in Fox Township. Upon arrival, troopers observed a man on the floor of the home. Police forced their way inside and found the man, Wayne Pichler, 66, was deceased. Upon investigation, no suspicious circumstances are related to the death.


Police Investigate Child Abuse Case In Fox Township
State police are investigating a report from Childline of a suspected child abuse case involving a known 7-year-old female from Kersey. The case is under investigation.
