State police report two from Johnsonburg are facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Johnsonburg Road. Police reported finding a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. State police in Emporium reported conducting a traffic stop on Rich Valley Road in Shippen Township. After making contact with the operator, it was discovered the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The man was taken to Penn Highlands Elk for a blood test. The investigation is ongoing.
