Utility Relocation Work on Route 120 in Emporium Starts April 6

The City of St. Marys, as part of road and street maintenance, implements a Street Sweeping Program in the spring of every year where they sweep and clean roads and streets throughout St. Marys. State police answered a call in Highland Township where excessive noise was reported from a residence. As a result, a known 39-year-old Kane man was cited for disorderly conduct.


Power Lines Damaged Near Friday Gas And Oil In Bennetts Valley
State police reported investigating an accident on Bennetts Valley Highway. Police report that a commercia semi-truck was traveling north on Route 255 in Byrnedale in Jay Township. The vehicle passed by Friday Gas and Oil under a low hanging section of power lines across the highway. The wire caught the top of the tractor-trailer, pulling and snapping the power lines. Shapiro Administration Warns of Text Phishing Scams Aimed at Pennsylvanians
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PA Turnpike) are warning about text phishing scams currently targeting Pennsylvanians that threaten the suspension of driving and vehicle registration privileges for not paying a fine or toll violation. St. Marys Man Facing Additional Charges After Police Serve Warrant
City Police in St. Marys filed charges of possession of a controlled substance against Crhistopher Yetzer, 37, of St. Marys. Yetzer was found to have methamphetamine during a warrant served. Yetzer was transported to the Elk County Prison for an active domestic relations warrant from the court of Common Pleas in Elk County.
