State police answered a call in Highland Township where excessive noise was reported from a residence. As a result, a known 39-year-old Kane man was cited for disorderly conduct.

State police reported investigating an accident on Bennetts Valley Highway. Police report that a commercia semi-truck was traveling north on Route 255 in Byrnedale in Jay Township. The vehicle passed by Friday Gas and Oil under a low hanging section of power lines across the highway. The wire caught the top of the tractor-trailer, pulling and snapping the power lines. City Police in St. Marys filed charges of possession of a controlled substance against Crhistopher Yetzer, 37, of St. Marys. Yetzer was found to have methamphetamine during a warrant served. Yetzer was transported to the Elk County Prison for an active domestic relations warrant from the court of Common Pleas in Elk County.
