Brockport Man Arrested On Arson Charges

Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of a disturbance at Shawmut Road in Horton Township. Upon arriving at the scene one man was placed into custody and identified as Christopher Malcolm. It was determined that an argument occurred between Malcolm and an involved person had escalated during which, Malcolm grabbed a gas can from a nearby garage poured it onto a vehicle parked on the roadway in front of the residence. Malcolm then proceeded to ignite the gasoline and set the car on fire. The investigation is ongoing. The victim is a known 29 year old female from Brockport.
