Council Recognizes Outgoing City Manger, Joe Fleming
St. Marys Mayor, Lyle Garner, presents outgoing City Manager, Joe Fleming, with a plaque of appreciation for his time serving as City Manager for the City of St. Marys. Fleming officially resigned on Monday and will begin his new post as City Manager for Dubois. Joe has served as City Manager since May, 2021.

Bill to Expand Prescription Drug Repository Passes House
To minimize waste and improve access to medications for those in need, I recently joined a unanimous vote in the state House for legislation to expand our Cancer and Prescription Drug Repository Program. 2026-27 Hunting Licenses Available Soon
The first day to purchase your 2026-27 Pennsylvania hunting and trapping licenses, as well as resident antlerless licenses for all Wildlife Management Units (WMUs), is Monday, June 22. Johnsonburg Man Charged With Trespassing
City police reported filing charges of Defiant Trespass and Harassment against Kameron Bauer, 19, of Johnsonburg. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Atlantic Street. Bauer was committed to Elk County Jail.

Severe Weather In The Region On Sunday

Fentanyl Bill Advances in Senate
My legislation to help law enforcement officers find fentanyl within their communities passed the Senate Judiciary Committee this week and goes to the full Senate for its consideration. House Bill 1344 would develop standards to certify police dogs trained to detect fentanyl. State Sen. Lindsey Williams is introducing a bill in Pennsylvania to prohibit schools from replacing human educators with artificial intelligence. Officials Rule Death Of McKean County Man Accidental
State police were called to investigate a death in Wetmore Township. After investigation police detemreind that the vicitm, a known 69 year old man, had fallen down stairs, subsequently hitting his head on concrete, causing fatal injuries. The death was determined to be accidental.
