Brockport Man Scammed Out Of $25,000

State police investigated a scam in Horton Township. Police report that a known 74-year-old man was contacted by phone about a family member in need of bail money. The man was instructed to lie to the bank about withdrawing money from his account. The man was scammed out of $25,000.00.

State police warn residents to consult a trusted family member before withdrawing large amounts of money for questionable payments.
