Cameron County Christmas Parade Friday, December 4th

Santa Claus is coming to town December 4 and the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce is officially taking applications for the annual Cameron County Christmas Spectacle of Lights Parade. It is the county’s largest holiday celebration. Join family, friends, businesses and community members on West Fourth Street Friday December 4 at 6pm as holiday themed floats parade through Emporium. The celebration culminates at the Emporium Town Square at 7:30pm when Santa Claus lights up the tree.

To enter your business, family or community organizations float or walking group contact the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce. This is the first year that judges will view the floats during staging and cash prizes are on the table. The categories include Jingle All the Way (music), Let it Glow (brightest), Dressed to Impress (best costumes), Joy to the World (most enthusiastic) and The Fruitcake Award (most humorous).
