DUBOIS, Pa. – Maddox Bennett netted a game-high 17 points, as DuBois beat visiting St. Marys, 49-27, in D9 Central League play. Tysen Beimel had 12 points and Drew Shutz 10 for St. Marys.
KANE 45, RIDGWAY 23
RIDGWAY, Pa. – Nate McCormack had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead visiting Kane to a 45-23 win over Ridgway in D9 Central League action Liam Kilpeck led Ridgway with 10 points.
ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 34, PUNXSUTAWNEY 23
ST. MARYS, Pa. – Chase Simbeck had 13 points, as Elk County Catholic pulled away from Punxsutawney in the fourth quarter for a 34-23 home D9 Central League win. The Crusaders led 21-17 going to the fourth quarter but outscored the Chucks 13-6 in the final eight minutes behind five points from Simbeck.
JOHNSONBURG 47, UNION 22
CLARION, Pa. – Parker Calla and Jude Schreiber combined to score 33 points, as Johnsonburg beat Union, 47-22, in the D9 Showcase at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym.
Calla led the Rams with 17 points, and Schreiber added 16.
