City Police Arrest Online Child Predator

The City Of Saint Marys Police Department announces the arrest of Daniel Gray, AGE 37, of St. Marys, PA, following an investigation into alleged online activity involving the sexual exploitation or attempted exploitation 0fa minor.

During the investigation, CSMPD investigators identified an individual who allegedly engaged in sexually explicit communications with a person the suspect believed to be a minor and attempted to arrange an in-person meeting.

On 08/12/2026, investigators conducted an enforcement operation, executed search warrants, and took the subject into custody at a park in the City of St. Marys. The individual was arrested without incident. 'the City of Saint Marys Police Department remains committed to protecting children from individuals who use online platforms to facilitate exploitation and other criminal activity. Parents and guardians are encouraged to remain aware of their children's online activity and to speak with them about the risks associated with communicating with unknown individuals online.
