State police in Elk County are currently investigating the theft of around $12,000 worth of materials from a cell tower in Ridgway Township.
Officials say 150 feet of copper wire and three copper ground plates were reportedly stolen from the tower.
Police believe that the suspects have knowledge of the materials because they stole only components that would not cause electrocution or system failure.
