Crusaders Defeat Cameron County In Volleyball, Bradford Over St. Marys

Bailey Thorwart hammered a match-high 17 kills as Elk County Catholic overcame a first-set loss at home to defeat Cameron County, 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-12).

Katelyn Myers turned in a big all-around performance for the Lady Crusaders with 10 kills, 10 aces and 11 digs. Addy Gradl handed out 35 set assists and added 15 digs, while Lanie Weisner had eight kills.

BRADFORD, Pa. – Bradford picked up a straight-set victory over visiting St. Marys, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 27-25).

Haley Keane paced the Lady Owls with 11 kills and five blocks, while Taylor VanAlstine added nine kills and seven digs.

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Brockway bounced back after dropping the opening set to earn a 3-1 (16-25, 25-18, 27-25, 26-24) victory at Johnsonburg.

The Lady Rovers completed the victory with an epic fourth-set rally.
