Elk County Catholic School System- St. Marys Catholic Elementary School

Elk County Catholic School System is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our school community as Custodial Staff. We currently have part-time positions available.

Work Schedule

• Evening shifts available

• School-year schedule

• Optional summer work available for those interested

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and light maintenance tasks

• Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed

• Help ensure a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and visitors

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a school environment with children

• Previous custodial experience helpful but not required

Elk County Catholic High School/ St. Marys Catholic Middle School

600 Maurus Street, St. Marys PA 15857

Custodian- Full Time

8 hours/day; 4:00 a.m. to Noon Monday- Friday

Reports to the ECCHS/SMCMS Head of Maintenance

1. Responsible for classrooms, hallways and other spaces in the school

2. Responsible for care of floors in corridors and throughout the school

3. Responsible for disposal of trash from areas of responsibility

4. Assists with set-up and clean-up of events in the building

5. Must be able to obtain 3 primary clearances (FBI Background Check, PA

State Police Background Check, PA Department of Human Services Child

Abuse Clearance)

6. Must be able to work independently

7. Must be reliable, energetic and a team player

8. HS Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

2. Must be able to be on your feet for the entire length of the shift.
