ree

Elcam Inc., a leader in vocational services and childcare, is proud to announce the grand opening of a new LEGO Wall at the A Step Ahead Child Center, made possible through a generous grant from the JAM Foundation. This collaborative project between Elcam Inc. and the Community Education Center (CEC) aims to foster creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning among youth. The launch event was attended by representatives from various supportive organizations and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Participants (pictured left to right) included Jam Foundation team member Elana Como; A Step Ahead Child Care Director Sydney Meyer; CEC STEM Education Assistant Courtney Rieger; Elcam Inc. Executive Director Kim Cashmer; Elcam Inc. Board of Directors Member Michael Werner. Others in attendance were Program Specialist/HR Jen Greenthaner; Stackpole Hall Executive Director Jen Dippold; and Elk County Community Foundation Executive Director Tiffany Boschert.

The LEGO Wall provides an engaging space where children can explore their imaginations, develop critical thinking skills, and participate in interactive building activities. This initiative aligns with both organizations’ missions to promote educational enrichment. Children at the center will have monthly challenges designed to encourage interaction, creativity, and fun with the LEGO Wall.

Funding for this project was provided by the JAM Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting community-driven educational initiatives that empower youth and foster positive development.
