Cameron County will bring out the werewolves, princesses and ghostly ghouls in October. The fun begins Saturday October 24 at noon when The Willows Bar and Restaurant host a Halloween Jeep/Costume Cruise In. This is the fourth year of the event.

On Friday October 30 Emporium businesses will hand out candy at their store fronts from 4-6. The move to Friday will take advantage of children in costume for school parties on Friday and end one hour prior to the last home football game of the regular season. Cameron County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Solak hopes Coudersport fans will come early to Emporium and enjoy dinner and visit local businesses.

“Saturday October 31 activities will be the first use of the Nittany Minitmart Pavilion,” says Solak. Halloween Extravaganza begins with trunk or treat 2-4 at the Cameron County School District parking lot. Smoker Logging will set up blow ups provide music and lots of candy in the Emporium Town Square from 4-6 with traditional trick or treat taking place from 6-8 by porch light invitation.
