Hollidaysburg School Students Safely stop Bus After Driver Suffers Medical Emergency

A group of Pennsylvania high school students safely stopped their school bus after the driver suffered a medical emergency while dropping them off, school officials said.

The bus continued rolling on Monday as students were getting off at their stop in Hollidaysburg. The students recognized that the driver needed help and worked together to bring the bus to a stop, the Hollidaysburg Area School District said.

Sophomore Jenna Anderson called 911. Senior Skyla Horton set the parking brake and opened the doors, while senior Travis Zerby used the bus radio to call for help.
