Kersey Man Arrested After Arranging To Meet Teen In Curwensville

A Kersey man was arrested after allegedly inappropriately messaging who he thought was a teenager.

Michael Hanes, 24, was arrested after police were contacted concerning the alleged conversations, which were facilitated by a local group. The group told officers that Hanes was under the impression he was messaging a 15-year-old over several weeks, allegedly sending several illicit sexual messages. Hanes is now in the Clearfield County Jail and facing charges
