In a poll that may leave many guys sleeping on the couch tonight, new research has found that feelings of happiness last longer after your favorite sports team wins in comparison to hearing your partner say, “I love you.” A poll of 2,000 adults found hearing “I love you” makes people feel good for an average of four hours – but the boost from your favorite team’s victory remains for four hours and nine minutes.
