First Responders int he St. Marys Community are invited to our next Hometown Heroe's Event at Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, July 17th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be food, music and followship

There are people in our community who never know what their day is going to look like.

The pager goes off. The phone rings. Dinner gets left on the table. Family plans get interrupted. Sleep gets cut short.

And they go.

Our police officers, firefighters, EMS crews, and search and rescue teams show up when our community needs them most. What’s even more remarkable is that many of these incredible men and women do it as volunteers, giving up their own time to answer the call for someone they may have never even met.

That’s the kind of community we live in.

Roy and I simply wanted to take one evening to say thank you. Just good food, good music, and good company with the people who spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else.

To every first responder who serves St. Marys—whether you volunteer or serve full-time—we appreciate you more than words can say. We hope you’ll join us on July 17. You’ve certainly earned a night that’s all about you!
