Mason J. Neureiter, 20, Ridgway

Mason J. Neureiter, 20, of Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born on April 26, 2005, in St. Marys, the son of Steven and Shannon Wright Neureiter.

Mason was a graduate of Ridgway High School, class of 2023, and he worked as a dispatcher for County Control, where he was known for his reliability and dedication. He was a devoted third generation member of the Ridgway Fire Department, always willing to lend a helping hand to his community. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Mason cherished the moments spent hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for music and took pride in being a member of the RHS Marching Band and The Grey Knights Drum & Bugle Corps. In quiet moments, he could be found immersed in video games, showcasing his larger-than-life personality and love for friendly competition. Mason had a special talent for solving the Rubik's Cube, a true testament to his patience and analytical mind.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by 4 siblings; Isaac Neureiter and his wife Jackie of Lawrenceville, GA, Dominic, Joel, and Tori Neureiter, all at home, numerous grandparents: George and Loretta Neureiter of Ridgway, Mary Ann (Randy) Carbone of New Castle, Scott (Christa) Wright Sr. of Kersey, and Tammy Kaplin of Kersey, 1 nephew, Isaac J. Neureiter, and a second nephew on the way. He is also survived by an aunt, Julie (Rob) Skellen of Ridgway, an uncle, Scott Wright Jr. of Ridgway, a beloved great uncle, Frank Rippy of Johnsonburg, and his close cousins, Neeva Skellen and Shelby Wright, both of Ridgway.

A Funeral Service for Mason J. Neureiter will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Ridgway Fire Hall, 28 North Broad St., Ridgway, PA 15853, Rev. Bob Flaherty officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ridgway Fire Department.
