The Goals of LEC are:

Community Understanding and Awareness

Educating participants in the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and assets of our communities and the implications for the future.

Collaborative Leadership and Relationship Building

Providing opportunities for participants to understand and enhance their personal and professional skills and knowledge, make partnerships across a broad continuum of leaders, and effectively lead with others.

Civic Readiness

Fostering experiences, behaviors, and attitudes that will spark participation within communities including service on community boards, in local government, and leading improvement efforts.
