PA Supreme Court Rules Skill Games as Slot Machines

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled that skill game machines are considered slot machines under state law and now must follow PA gambling and crime statutes.

This decision could have a major impact on bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and veterans organizations that currently use the machines.

Now, legislators have 120 days to decide whether to create a regulatory framework for skill games or to allow law enforcement agencies to act on the new ruling.
