Patty was born, December 27, 1941, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Llewellyn Schaberl. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1959.

On May 14, 1960, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Patty married the late Willis T. Gleixner, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2012.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Ruberto (Jay) of Mooresville, NC; four sons: Michael Gleixner (Joanne) of Hudson, OH, David Gleixner (Jenny) of St. Marys, Richard Gleixner (Mary) of St. Marys, and Steven Gleixner (Mary Kay) of St. Marys; eleven grandchildren: Dan Gleixner (Amanda), Eric Gleixner (Eileen), Molly DeStephano (Nick), Alyssa Ruberto and her partner, Alex Pavlovic, Jeffery Gleixner (Casey), Elizabeth Vaerewyck (Richard), Ashley Ruberto and her partner, Nicole Fore, Rebecca Basinger (Jeremy), Tori Gleixner and her fiancé, Jake Dunston, Danielle Wolfel, and Josh Gleixner (Taylor); twelve great-grandchildren: Ziggy, Ben, Elliott, Evelyn, Eloise, Orion, Lyra, Madeline, Natalie, Grayson, Arabelle, and Brinley; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Weisner; two sisters: Judy Cleary (Jim) of Beaver Falls and Mary Ann Spiglemyer (John) of Hanover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patty was preceded in death by one son, Bill Gleixner, in 1993.

Grandma Patty or Patty as she was known, enjoyed volunteering in the cafeteria at Elk County Catholic High School, Meals on Wheels, the local elections polls, and for the Knights of Columbus. She took pleasure in dining with dear friends, family, the St. Ann’s Society, and class luncheons. She cherished spending time with her companion, Jack Pauline, and beloved friends, too many to mention.

She spent time reading and helping to keep Hallmark in business with all of the birthday cards she sent to everyone she knew and loved. More than anything, Grandma Patty was devoted to caring for her immediate and extended family.
