Penn Highlands Healthcare is pleased to announce the following recent awards and accreditations at its hospitals and business units.

Penn Highlands DuBois

Penn Highlands DuBois was reaccredited in four areas by the American College of Radiology. The hospital received the following:

• 2023-2027 - Ultrasound General, Gynecological, Obstetrical First Trimester, Pediatric, Vascular (including peripheral venous, cerebrovascular, renal vasculature, aorta)

• 2024-2028 - CT Rev EVO Scanner Abdomen, Cardiac, Chest Head/Neck Adult and Pediatric Patients, and Lung Cancer Screening

• 2024-2028 - CT VCT Scanner Abdomen, Chest, Head/Neck Adult and Pediatric Patients and Lung Cancer Screening

The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) provides accreditation to durable medical equipment suppliers and offers professional certifications to individuals demonstrating expertise in setting up, troubleshooting and educating patients on equipment. The following home medical equipment locations received BOC accreditation from 2016-2028:

• Penn Highlands Home Medical Equipment – Brookville

Penn Highlands Huntingdon

Penn Highlands Huntingdon was recognized with the following accreditation and certification:

• 2025 Corazon Cath/PCI accreditation, which is a voluntary quality certification for the Cardiac Cath Lab which signifies they meet high standards for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures, ensuring quality care, adherence to national guidelines, appropriate PCI use and excellent patient outcomes.

• 2025 American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Certification, which is a peer-reviewed accreditation that recognizes facilities that adhere to top standards of care, safety and quality to improve patient outcomes.

Penn Highlands Pharmacy

Penn Highlands Specialty Pharmacy received 2025-2028 accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). The accreditation signifies that a healthcare organization is dedicated to providing high-quality care that meets or exceeds national standards. It shows patients, partners, and regulators that the organization values safety, ethics and\

clinical excellence.

Penn Highlands Physician Network

The Diabetes and Nutrition Wellness Clinic completed its recertification in the American Diabetes Association Education Recognition Program, which is considered the gold standard. This is a four-year recertification.
