Philip L. Bressler, 77, Johnsonburg

Philip L. Bressler, 77, of Mill Street, Johnsonburg, passed away Monday afternoon, September 7, 2026, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. He was born July 18, 1949, in Ridgway, a son to the late John and Hazel Reese Bressler. On March 27, 1976, in the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church, he married Deborah S. Chadwick, and she survives.
A lifelong resident of Johnsonburg, Phil was a 1967 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School and the Williamsport Area Community College.
Phil was a member of the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting, fishing and coaching Knothole baseball. He had also been an Elementary School and Junior High Basketball coach for the Johnsonburg Schools. Of late, he enjoyed playing cards at the Johnsonburg Senior Center.
In addition to his wife Debbie at home, Phil is survived by his children Allison Grove (Christopher) of Williamsport and Adam Bressler (Emily) of Bloomsburg and his grandson Abbott Bressler.
He is also survived by a brother James Bressler of Chambersburg, PA and a sister Martha DeSimone of Irvine, PA and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Phil is predeceased by his brothers Fred and John Bressler.
Funeral Services and Interment for Philip L. Bressler will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, PA.
