Power Lines Damaged Near Friday Gas And Oil In Bennetts Valley

State police reported investigating an accident on Bennetts Valley Highway. Police report that a commercia semi-truck was traveling north on Route 255 in Byrnedale in Jay Township. The vehicle passed by Friday Gas and Oil under a low hanging section of power lines across the highway. The wire caught the top of the tractor-trailer, pulling and snapping the power lines. The vehicle proceeded north on Route 2555 and the power lines fell across the highway. No injuries were reported.
