1969 – Young David Bowie signed his record deal with Mercury Records. The label would wait three years before he produced a successful follow-up to his hit Space Oddity iHeart.


1980 – Billy Joel’s “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” became his first number one hit on the Billboard charts, marking the start of his long-running chart success iHeart.


1998 – The first-ever Ozzfest took place outside the United States, headlined by Black Sabbath, the Foo Fighters, Korn, Pantera, Limp Bizkit, and many others. This was a major moment for the festival’s global expansion iHeart.
