Scott A. Lepold, 62, of Sinnemahoning, PA, passed away at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA, on Tuesday morning (October 14, 2025) with his family by his side.
He was born May 28, 1963, in DuBois, PA, a son of the late Stanley and Elizabeth C. “Betsy” Mann.
Scott was a 1982 graduate of Cameron County High School and went on to earn an associate degree in mechanics from Williamsport Area Community College. He was employed at Motor Coils (Wabtec) for over 35 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Scott enjoyed woodworking, especially making birdhouses, and had a passion for collecting owls, aluminum Ford Mustang signs, and Ford Mustangs. He loved his outdoor cats, took great pride in mowing the grass at the family farm, and looked forward to making and having dinner with his sister and niece on Fridays and Sundays. He also enjoyed shopping trips, particularly to the monthly flea markets.
Scott was always up for the challenge whenever his sister or niece had an idea that needed completed. He was a great brother and uncle and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister, Tracy Hardinger and niece, Tasha Hardinger both of Driftwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Elizabeth C. “Betsy” Mann.
The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA, on Friday (October 17, 2025) from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM with Rev. Kenneth Bailey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA.
