CAMERON COUNTY 63, AUSTIN 31
AUSTIN, Pa. – Beckett Bure scored all 13 of his points before halftime, as Cameron County rolled past homestanding Austin, 63-31, in NTL action.
The win keeps the Red Raiders’ hopes of an NTL regular-season title alive, but they need Port Allegany to lose at home to Northern Potter on Tuesday.
Taylon Tucker added 11 points for Cameron County, while Korbin Post scored a career-best 10 points, all in the fourth quarter, while hitting three 3-pointers.
ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 51, BRADFORD 34
ST. MARYS, Pa. – Chase Simbeck scored 16 of his game-high 18 points after halftime, as Elk County Catholic beat visiting Bradford, 51-34.
Jack Breindel scored all 10 of his points in the first quarter, helping the Crusaders take an 18-7 lead after eight minutes.
Luke Songer chipped in eight points in the victory.
ST. MARYS 29, KANE 27
KANE, Pa. – A strong defensive stand in the final 30 seconds helped visiting St. Marys pick up a 29-27 D9 Central League win at Kane.
Schutz paced St. Marys with 11 points, while Nico Assalone added seven.
Novosel led Kane with 11 points, while Sheaffer scored eight.
DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 53, RIDGWAY 41
DUBOIS, Pa. – Tyler Pfingstler, Evan Burton, and Xavie Schwentner each reached double digits, as DuBois Central Catholic picked up its second win of the season thanks to a 53-41 D9 Central League victory over visiting Ridgway.
Liam Kilpeck had 15 points for Ridgway, and Hunter Santiso added 10.
PORT ALLEGANY 43, OSWAYO VALLEY 22
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Port Allegany took another step towards securing the NTL regular-season title with a 43-22 win at Oswayo Valley.
