St. Marys Man Charged With Indecent Assault

State police conducted an investigation into an incident involving sexually explicit notes being found at a local business. Police conducted an interview with Andrew Kneidel,61, of St. Marys after police found a Facebook Post which related that Kneidel had recently been terminated from his employer for leaving explicit notes in the work area of the business. During this interview, Kneidel admitted to leaving a sexually explicit note on the desk where he worked. He further related that the note regarded his sexual fantasies towards a "Pre-Teen Girl" which used to be a neighbor of his. At this time an investigation began into Kneidel for the notes left at his previous employer and his comments of sexual fantasies towards 'Pre-Teen Girls". On August 4th, charges were filed on Kneidel. He was arrested and arraigned and bail was set for $25,000 secured cash bond. Kneidel was unable to post bail and was placed in Elk County Jail Awaiting a preliminary hearing.
