St. Marys Over Bradford, Crusaders Defeat Cameron County In Volleyball

Payton Newton had 14 kills and four aces to lead Elk County Catholic to a 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-12) road win over Cameron County. Lena Polaski added seven kills and six digs for the Lady Crusaders. Ava Hilfiger had nine kills for Cameron County, while Addison McAullay ran the offense with 12 set assists.

Triple-doubles from Molly Hansolvan and Taylor Gornati helped St. Marys stave off a Bradford comeback attempt, 3-2 (25-14, 25-14, 12-25, 13-15, 15-13). Hanslovan had 12 kills, 17 digs, and 15 set assists, while Gornati added 10 kills, 11 set assists, 14 digs, and four aces.
