Successful Summer At St. Marys Community Pool

WHAT A COMEBACK! 💦

At one point, it looked like there wouldn’t be a 2026 Community Pool season at all.

A tremendous amount of time, work, and effort went into changing that outcome and getting the pool ready to open its doors this summer. On June 15, we did exactly that.

🌊 9,063 total pool visits

June: 2,750

July: 4,237

August: 2,076

🏊 195 Pool Memberships Sold

That’s nearly a 13% increase over 2025 and our second-highest membership total in the past five seasons.

💦 77 participants in Group & Private Swim Lessons

👶 42 participants in Mommy & Me Aqua Adventures

💪 11 Aqua Aerobics classes offered throughout the summer

🌙 3 Night Swims with 570 total attendees

☀️ OUR BUSIEST DAYS

When the temperatures climbed, our community showed up!

🥇 July 2 – 542 visits

🥈 June 30 – 470 visits

🥉 June 29 – 430 visits

All three of our busiest days came during the late-June/early-July heat wave.

You purchased memberships. You signed your children up for lessons. You attended programs and special events. You packed the pool during the heat waves. Most importantly, you supported the Community Pool during a season we once weren’t sure we would even get to have.

📅 2027 opening and closing dates and regular daily operating hours will be announced following the September Recreation Board meeting.

Community Pool memberships will be available during our Holiday Membership Sale, including the opportunity to purchase a membership as a gift for someone special.
