Travis Haupt, 32, Johnsonburg

Travis L. Haupt, 32, of Market Street, Johnsonburg, passed away, Monday afternoon, September 28, 2026, with his family by his side, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 11, 1994, in Wellsville, NY, a son to Crystal Haupt. On October 10, 2020 at the Johnsonburg Fire Hall, he married Billie Jo Marsh and she survives.

A resident of Johnsonburg since 2016, Travis is formerly of Eldred, PA and was a 2012 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. He was also a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA.

Travis was a family man who enjoyed every minute spent with his wife, son and extended family. He also was an avid fan of his favorite teams, the Buffalo Bills and Sabres and all Penn State Athletics. He also enjoyed dirt track racing. His other passion was his participation as a volunteer with the Johnsonburg Fire Department.

Travis had worked at Mersen in St. Marys for the past 4 years.

Besides his wife Billie Jo at home, Travis is survived by his son Liam Haupt also at home.

He is also survived by his mother Crystal Haupt of Eldred and Maternal Grandparents Edwina and Robert “Bob” Freer of Eldred and Lenny Haupt of Palm Beach, FL, siblings Faith Walker of Clermont, Heylee Frederick & companion Shawn Moore of Chesterville, WV, Emma Button of Eldred, Rylie Halquist of Johnsonburg, Ashley Smith of Johnsonburg, Laura Kreckel (Mike) of Johnsonburg, Amber Smith (Matt) of St. Marys, Andrew James Smith of Johnsonburg, nieces and nephews Gracie Lowe, Lucas Smith, Bryson Neubert, Parker Kreckel and Ellee-Anna Kreckel, aunts and uncles Brandon “Bud” Freer (Beth), Penny Renninger (Randy) and Karen Frank (Matt) and cousins Jenna Freer and fiancé AJ Redmond, Rame Hulett, Samantha Wilkerson (Chris), Kirsten Connor (Chris), Sarah Frank, Luke Frank and Emma Frank.

He is being met in heaven by 2 angel babies.

A Funeral Service for Travis L. Haupt will be conducted at the Johnsonburg Fire Hall on Monday morning, October 5, 2026, at 11 AM with Bob Johnson, Lay Minister as officiant. At Travis’ request, please dress nice for his funeral and visitation.

Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut, Johnsonburg on Sunday October 4, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

Interment will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
