Wharton Days Return Saturday, September 5th

The public is invited to celebrate Wharton Township’s 200th year during Wharton Days scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be vendors, food and beverages, live music, dunk tank, kids games, a cornhole tournament, live music and more.

Saturday in the Park

Members of the community, friends and guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon of live music, chicken barbecue and local history at the Austin Dam Memorial Park on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 2-6:30 p.m.

Steve and Eppie will present original songs featuring the Austin Dam. Beg 2 Differ will perform Americana music.

The event will be held at the Austin Dam, 5384 PA Route 872 north of Austin.

Down East Boys to perform

Down East Boys Quartet will be at the Austin Global Methodist Church on Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.

The Down East Boys have been spreading the Word for more than four decades, carrying on a legacy of rich harmonies, heartfelt lyrics and ministry-focused performances.

The Quartet was formed in 1985 and has toured extensively across the United States and abroad.
