If you are altering how and what you eat in the new year, also work on
when you eat. Having breakfast early and avoiding late dinners can
lower the risk of heart attacks or strokes, new research suggests.
Scientists found that people who eat their first meal at 9 a.m. have a
six-percent higher chance of developing cardiovascular disease than
those who have breakfast at 8 a.m. And eating after 9 p.m. is linked
to a 28-percent increased risk of strokes, especially in women, when
compared to eating before 8 p.m.
