Blaine E. Wildnauer, Sr., 92, Kersey

Blaine E. Wildnauer, Sr., a 92-year-old resident of Kersey, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Otterbein Senior Life Community in Lebanon, Ohio.


Born on May 7, 1934, in Dagus Mines, Blaine was the son of the late Stanley and Dorthy Wildnauer. He was raised by his grandparents, Don and Hazel Van Horn, in Falls Creek and graduated from Dubois High School in 1952.


Blaine’s journey of love began on June 27, 1954, when he married Phyllis Keller. In 1956, they relocated to Kersey, where they joyfully raised three sons: Blaine, Jr., Paul, and Kurt. Blaine’s professional life took him to Airco Speer Carbon, where he dedicated his career until his retirement in 1996.


Blaine is survived by his two sons, Paul (Georgia) of Crestwood, Kentucky, and Kurt (Denise) of Franklin, Ohio. In addition to his three sons, he was blessed with seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.


Blaine was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis, in 2020, his son Blaine, Jr., in 2013, his sister Mildred Morelli, and his brother John Wildnauer.


A man of faith, Blaine was a devoted member of the Kersey United Methodist Church and held the esteemed rank of 32nd degree Mason. His passion for travel and his love for spending quality time with his family were the cornerstones of his life.



Funeral services for Blaine will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10:00AM in the Kersey United Methodist Church, 106 Dagus Mines Road, Kersey, PA 15846.
