A Brookville man is facing felony charges after he allegedly admitted to molesting an 11-year-old girl.
James States, 36, was arrested after Pennsylvania State Police opened an investigation on Jan. 24 into him allegedly having sexual contact with a juvenile female victim, who was between 11 and 12 years old. Five days later, on Jan. 29, States contacted PSP, saying that he wanted to confess to molesting the victim, according to the criminal complaint.
States is in the Jefferson County Prison after failing to post his $80,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 26.
