PennDOT, HSN Team Up with Local Pizzerias, Urge Designated Driving

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the Highway Safety Network (HSN) partnered with pizzerias in several counties to urge designated driving through a box top advertising campaign ahead of Sunday’s matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. The partnership coincides with a national Super Bowl Impaired Driving Campaign running Thursday, February 5, through Sunday, February 8.
The following locations will participate in a box top advertising campaign:
Bedford County: Fox’s Pizza Den, Bedford.
Blair County: Best Way Pizza of Altoona, Duncansville, East Freedom, and Hollidaysburg; Cobrh’s, Altoona; Front Street Subs, Duncansville; D’Ottavio’s, Hollidaysburg.
Cambria County: Best Way Pizza, Ebensburg.
Centre County: Pizza Mia, Bellefonte; Brothers Pizza, Philipsburg.
Clearfield County: Buck's Pizza, Clearfield; Buck's Pizza, DuBois.
Clinton County: Original Italian Pizza, Lock Haven; Original Italian Pizza, Mill Hall.
Elk County: Paesano II Pizza, Ridgway.
Huntingdon County: Best Way Pizza, Huntingdon.
McKean County: Pepe's Pizzeria, Kane.
State Farm funded the purchase of the flyers distributed in Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, and McKean counties through its Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grants. They award these grants to build safer, stronger, and better-educated communities across the United States by focusing on safety, education, and community development.
