Changes Proposed To Pennsylvania Vehicle Registration Cards

A Pennsylvania lawmaker is proposing allowing digital vehicle registration cards.

The legislation, introduced by State Rep. Manuel Guzman (D-127), would allow Pennsylvania drivers to store their vehicle registration card digitally rather than carry a paper copy.

Banking, paying bills, filing taxes, and registering to vote can now all be completed online without paper. Rep. Guzman argues that the state should consider allowing digital registration cards because the world continues to digitize.
